How does it feel stepping on the field on Super Bowl day?
—Madison, age 10
Amani Toomer, wide receiver, New York Giants: It’s a great feeling that I don’t think I’ll ever forget, but I think this experience will probably be a lot better hopefully when we do what we’re supposed to do and win.
Do you ever get tired of playing football?
—Kit, age 13
Grey Ruegamer, guard, New York Giants: Yeah, when you wake up after the game and you’re real sore, real tired. Sort of like you’ve been chewed up and spit out, you do get tired of playing football. But it feels better when you win.
Are you practicing differently before the Super Bowl than during the regular season?
—Nathen, age 9
Jared Lorenzen, quarterback, New York Giants: We have an extra week, so we get an extra three or four practices. As time goes by, when it gets this late in the season, you really don’t have to do a whole bunch more practicing, you just have to learn, watch a little more film, and understand exactly what’s on against the other team.
Do you have any football tips?
—Christopher, no age given
Kevin Boothe, guard, New York Giants: Just to work hard and try your best in everything you do because it will all pay off in the long run. If you really believe in doing something, you can do it.
Michael Strahan, defensive end, New York Giants: Have fun, that’s the biggest tip. Have a lot of fun. When you’re a kid, or anybody any age, this is a sport, have fun with it.
How do you feel when you win a game?
—Nick, age 17
Kyle Bissinger, linebacker, New England Patriots: I feel good. I feel like I accomplished something, worked hard for it, and that it paid off.
Is it hard being a pro?

How does it feel to be in the Super Bowl?
—Grady, age 9
Darren Barnett, cornerback, New York Giants: It’s definitely the best feeling in the world because you dreamed of that since you first started playing the sport. I’ve been playing since I was little, so for me to be out there, it definitely is very fun.
Are you nervous about the Super Bowl?
—Ashley, age 10; Andrew, age 11
Kyle Bissinger, linebacker, New England Patriots: Of course I am, everybody is for sure. [I just] take big breaths, deep breaths, and through the course of the game, you relax a little bit.
I heard that you collect hats. What kind of hats do you wear?
—Claire, age 10
Junior Seau, linebacker, New England Patriots: I switch up visors in the off-season. I wear beanies for my workouts. … I never know what I’m going to be wearing but hopefully it can be something that we can all be happy with or you’re going to laugh at.
