Ask This Month's Celebrity: Raven-Symoné
The world first met Raven-Symoné when she was only three years old. At that young age, she was already trading jokes with Bill Cosby on The Cosby Show. Today, fans know Raven-Symoné for her leading role on the hit Disney Channel series That's So Raven. She plays Raven Baxter, a normal teen—who just happens to be psychic.

The 20-year-old is also a recording artist, with three solo albums under her belt. But she still finds time to make movies! She starred in The Princess Diaries 2 and the Dr. Doolittle movies. She combined her singing and acting talents for the hit Disney Channel movie The Cheetah Girls. She played Galleria Garibaldi, the leader of a talented all-girl band.

This month, Raven-Symoné can be seen in two new films. First, she reprises her role as Galleria in the much-anticipated Cheetah Girls 2. This time, the girls travel to Spain to perform at a festival showcasing new talent. In addition to starring in the film, Raven-Symoné is the co-executive producer! Cheetah Girls 2 can be seen on the Disney Channel.

You can also hear Raven-Symoné in the new animated film Everyone's Hero. The movie is about a 10-year-old boy named Yankee who goes on a cross-country quest to return a baseball bat to Babe Ruth. Raven-Symoné voices the character of Yankee's friend, Marti, a feisty girl who encourages him on his journey. Everyone's Hero opens September 15.

  • At the age of five, she became the youngest artist ever to sign with MCA Records. Her first single, "That's What Little Girls Are Made Of," was written by hip-hop superstar Missy Elliott.
