How We Vote 
We vote by secret ballot 
On Election Day 
So no one can see how we vote. 
Nothing can stand in our way. 
Behind a curtain that’s closed 
We can make our choice 
By voting for whom we want 
We can use our political voice. 
When we cast our votes this way 
The election’s truly fair. 
We can look at all the candidates 
And then vote with care.

Pumpkins grow on a long, long vine. 
I pick the biggest one as mine. 
I roll it home, 
Then cut out eyes, 
While mom bakes us a pumpkin pie.

I watched a tiny spider 
With the smartest spider head 
As she made somewhere inside her 
A magic silken thread. 
I watched her as she fastened 
Each silver thread in place 
Until she had a shining web 
Of perfect spider lace.

Tiny spider spins a web.

She never stops to take a rest,

Soon her web is finished, 
So she sits and waits for lunch. 
She hopes her web will trap a bug,
