Welcome to Current Health 1

Greetings!

Are you and your students ready for winter? Current Health 1 magazine is! December's cover story looks at something a lot of families do in the cooler months: cook together. The Your Relationships article this month, “Dinnertime!” looks at the healthy benefits of cooking and eating together.

Other articles in this month’s issue examine so-called “exergames” and whether or not they provide kids and teens with more than just fun times; our Your Body feature this month looks at how scoliosis is diagnosed and treated, from teens who have been there; and we also have stories on being responsible, the rising prices of food, and how talking things out can be healthy.

And of course, our Get Up and Go feature has been updated for December, with a look at ways to get active even when winter, and the holidays, make it tough to maintain your plan to exercise. Check out what’s new, and catch up on previous months’ installments at weeklyreader.com/teens/get_up_go/index.asp
