After the Mumbai attacks, National Public Radio brought together people from India and Pakistan to discuss the tensions between the two countries. Have students listen to the 21-minute audio conversation. Then, as a class, discuss the emotions and concerns on each side: India’s, Pakistan’s, and Kashmir’s.
The audio can be found at: www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=97739528 or by clicking on the link above. Note there is a 20-second break midway through the discussions with music and a short news update.
